What you'll be doing here
- This PhD position is part of a project funded by the SNSF and is offered by the Bern University of Applied Sciences in collaboration with the University of Fribourg.
- Investigate how emerging technologies such as VR and AI change the way we collaborate, cooperate, and strategically interact in teams.
- Design innovative experiments that integrate virtual reality, augmented reality, and AI into traditional frameworks in experimental economics, and analyze text data using LLMs.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to high-profile publications.
- Participate in international conferences and workshops.
What you'll bring with you
- Master's degree in Economics (or related fields, including Management, Psychology, and Computer Science).
- A strong interest in experimental methods and Behavioral Economics.
- You are curious, creative and highly motivated, and you are able to work independently as well as in teams.
- A good command of the English language is required.
- Additional skills include a background in microeconomics, knowledge of econometrics or data analysis techniques, knowledge of emerging technologies such as VR/AR, or programming skills (Python).
