Position summary:


We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Manager to join our team in the Small Molecules unit at Johnson & Johnson in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. As the Quality Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the magnificent quality of our small molecule products. Your responsibilities:



  • Develop and champion an interpersonal culture that promotes behaviors that lead to outstanding business performance and excellence.

  • Encourage, support and advise on initiatives and programs that lead to improved quality and improved regulatory compliance.

  • Coordinate the activities of the group within quality to build a collaborative approach to goals and tasks.

  • Consults on processes to ensure the internal organization's alignment with overall quality priorities.

  • Provides coaching and guidance to team in the identification of risks and development of mitigation plans, monitoring of data, and development of substantial KPIs.

  • Ensures key quality results are completed in accordance with required timelines.

  • Lead and guide staff and those involved in quality activities to achieve the best results.

  • Mentor and coach staff, as well as develop and implement training programs, to ensure professional and personal development of department personnel.

  • Ensure all employees align with all applicable J&J and governmental (Swiss Medic, FDA, etc.) regulations, policies, and guidelines.

  • Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision-making.

  • This position may require up to 10% domestic & international travel.
