About the Role:
As a Senior HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience and driving business execution through strategic collaboration and consultation. You will partner closely with managers and business leaders, acting as a trusted advisor and coach, while navigating complex HR challenges to ensure success.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Experience and Advisory:
- Lead initiatives to ensure a positive and consistent employee experience, focusing on performance management and employee relations investigations.
- Act as a trusted advisor and coach to all people managers, guiding them on HR topics and regional nuances to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and actively engage in initiating and implementing change that positively impacts employees and the business.
US Regional HR Expertise:
- Serve as the subject matter expert on country-specific HR practices, policies, and applicable laws, providing guidance and insights to leaders, employees, and other internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with these regulations and actively work to mitigate risks associated with non-compliance.
- Leverage regional knowledge to inform HR strategies and ensure compliance with local regulations.
Consultation, Problem Solving, and Judgment:
- Operate effectively in ambiguous situations, employing problem-solving skills to influence and guide decision-making.
- Independently resolve undefined problems using interpretive thinking and judgment, looping in appropriate partners for higher-level consultation.
- Working with front line, middle and senior leadership on complex HR matters, utilizing a consultative approach to drive solutions.
Business Execution, Collaboration, and Acumen:
- Articulate and implement strategies for effective collaboration with the business, utilizing HR tools and practices to enhance partnership.
- Support business execution by aligning HR initiatives with organizational objectives and fostering a culture of teamwork.
- Demonstrate business acumen by understanding client groups' operating models to effectively support and guide the business on HR processes.
Change Management:
- Act as a change champion, influencing stakeholders on key change initiatives to drive organizational success.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Leverage resources and data to analyze trends and guide leaders and business partners effectively.
- Utilize data to inform decision-making processes, providing insights and recommendations that drive business outcomes.
About You:
You are a fit for the role of Senior HR Manager if you possess the following:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Over 7 years of HR Generalist experience with a strong understanding of HR policies, processes, and the employee life cycle.
- Previous experience supporting Customer Service teams is an asset.
- Expertise in federal and state laws/regulations, including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, and FMLA.
- A deep understanding of business strategies, customer service dynamics, and market trends.
- Proven experience in employee relations across diverse departments and roles.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to make data-driven recommendations.
- A growth mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Experience or interest in applying AI skills and tools within your day-to-day work to enhance efficiency and innovation.
