Position Overview

Our engagement vision is to be a great place to work for all. The Principal Employee Engagement Partner is crucial in enhancing our global culture through employee engagement. They will lead our annual engagement survey strategy and execution, ensuring employee voices are heard and acted upon, and collaborate with leaders and HR Business Partners to translate insights into impactful strategies.
By developing resources and programs, they empower leaders to foster a workplace where employees feel valued and motivated. Serving as an engagement expert, they support HRBPs in becoming effective engagement advocates to increase performance and deliver business results.
This is a hybrid role based out of our Madison, WI office.
Essential Duties
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Track and report on employee engagement to identify high-priority focus areas.
- Develop critical metrics to track and measure the impact of engagement processes, initiatives, and solutions.
- Amplify the employee voice by acting on survey insights, employee feedback, etc. to build trust.
- Partner with leaders, SMEs, and stakeholders to provide context to data and inform decision-making.
- Evolve approach based on research, data and best practices to meet changing business and employee needs with the mission to be ranked as a top place to work.
- Lead the strategy and execution of our annual engagement surveys to create an easy, repeatable process that delivers meaningful business insights.
- Brainstorm with business leaders and HRBPs on engagement-related topics and strategies to embed engagement into the business.
- Serve as an employee engagement expert to the business by providing advice on engagement-related topics and recommending solutions to address current and future business needs.
- Lead cross-functional project teams while providing mentorship and coaching to more junior level peers.
- Own the relationships with our external vendor partners to get the most value from the investments we make.
- Use a data-driven approach and mine a variety of data sources to uncover challenges and opportunities to truly understand what employees value and how to make things accessible and meaningful for them.
- Build and lead an engagement council who partner effectively with others and bring proactive solutions to increase employee engagement around the globe.
- Develop critical metrics to track and measure the impact of engagement processes, initiatives, and solutions.
- Manage the employee engagement budget.
- Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
- Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
- Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or field as outlined in the essential duties; or High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 4 years of relevant experience as outlined in essential duties in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree.
- 10+ years of experience in human resources, customer service, or field outlined in the essential duties, with demonstrated progressively increasing responsibility, exposure, and scope.
- 5+ years of experience leading projects, programs and/or people.
- Demonstrated ability to develop clear, concise written communications and recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence all levels of the organization from frontline employees to executive leadership.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of and experience with virtual team building skills.
- Demonstrated proven ability to work and influence cross-functionally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project or program management experience.
- Experience with Great Place to Work and Gallup Q12 Employee Engagement surveys.
Salary Range:
$129,000.00 - $208,000.00The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
