The Role
We are looking for a technical Implementation Associate, as part of the Professional Services team, who will be expected to become an expert in a number of Solera products, with initial focus on our Bodyshop Management System, PlanManager. You will support the pre and post sales process by recommending best practice use, gathering all customer requirements to enable a thorough and customer focused implementation and configuration strategy, which will allow you and or wider team to then install & configure to this standard.
The role is customer facing hence the ability to communicate at all levels is critical as well as understanding of FY revenue targets, to support the commercial targets and ensure prioritisation is given appropriately to tasks and customers.
You would expect overtime to become skilled in our wider product set, particularly understanding the integration applications of our products and able to consult on those, in some cases you will also be expected to configure and deliver local product changes. You will work closely with the other teams in Professional Services, both configuration and training to deliver customer requirements, and the broader Solera team to deliver new product developments.
To be successful in this role, this individual must be able to work to aggressive deadlines whilst remaining flexible to the needs of the business. They must be able to demonstrate a proactive attitude and always take the initiative in ensuring outputs are delivered on time and to the expected quality. They will enjoy working in a strong team environment focussed on delivery of robust, high quality, value adding solutions to Solera’s customers.
What You’ll Do
Support the sales team with presented opportunities, understanding our customer’s requirements and demonstrating the best use of our products to fulfil the customers’ needs.
Propose best practice use of Solera products and present the possible, considering the customers workflow and opportunities to integrate our products, providing innovation and value to our customers.
Document and collect requirements for customer implementations, then own and manage the process with the customer to delivery, ensuring all operational aspects are covered and sourced, either by completing the installation and training yourself or alongside the appropriate teams eg; configuration, training, product and development etc.
You will be customer facing, expected to travel to customer site and will become a skilled SME Solera product implementor.
Manage migration projects with customers, utilizing 3rd parties where appropriate
Where appropriate you will be expected to implement local product configuration changes, and directly support customers with related technical issues.
Collaborate with colleagues in the Professional Services team to reduce time to market, share best practice, learning.
