Project Assistant
Based in Zurich, Lucerne or Berne
MCI Switzerland is looking for a Project Assistant! We offer this great opportunity for an enthusiastic, creative and motivated individual to join an energetic team of young professionals.
You will work within our Corporate Division under the supervision and guidance of Project Coordinators and Project Managers and you will assist with the administration and delivery of projects from proposal to delivery to debrief and final reconciliation in the line with clients’ requirements.
Your responsibilities :
- Support for creative and incentive proposals
- Direct involvement in the support/coordination of projects
- Regular internal reporting on project planning and operational progress
- Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
- Delivering meetings, events and incentives on time within budget, meeting and exceeding client’s expectations
Additional responsibilities
- When appropriate, proposing the full range of Ovation/MCI event services to current and potential clients
- Representing Ovation/MCI and participating at selected industry events, exhibitions, social events
Your profile
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and German; additional languages, especially French are a plus
- Studies linked to tourism, and local knowledge of hotels, venues and sites for international clients is a bonus
- Travel Flexibility: Enthusiasm for frequent travel and a willingness to work on-site at events internationally
- Process-Oriented: Comfortable working within a client’s structured processes and managing extensive documentation and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to stay calm, prioritize effectively, and solve problems under pressure
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with event registration
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, responsible, attention to detail, ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
