The International School of Schaffhausen is a growing school in the Zurich North area, Switzerland. We are an IB-World School authorised for the PYP and Diploma Programme.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced educator to join our dynamic team at the International School of Schaffhausen for a short-term teaching position within our Primary Years Programme (PYP). This position will cover for a member of the Primary team who is on sick leave. There is potential for the role to be extended depending on the school's needs and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that align with the PYP framework.
- Guide students through their learning journey, emphasising collaboration, critical thinking and creativity.
- Support the PYP Exhibition process to ensure a meaningful and reflective experience for students.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues.
- Participate in collaborative planning and contribute to the school's vibrant learning culture.

- A strong understanding of the IB philosophy and inquiry-based learning.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- International school experience preferred.
- Flexibility, adaptability and a collaborative approach.
Qualifications
- Proven PYP teaching experience, including hands-on involvement with the PYP Exhibition.
- Internationally recognised teaching qualification.
