Supporting incidents and support within a Trading Environment

What you'll do

• Supporting incidents and support within a Trading Environment
• Implementing and supporting configuration changes via Ansible
• Engineering monitoring solutions with Nagios / ElasticSearch
• Managing deployments and releases
• Managing debugging failures within environments and coordinating with Infrastructure Engineers or Development teams
• Supporting applications operating on Cloud Platforms would be bonus
• Operating and implementing solutions within batch management tooling (Control-M)
• Supporting devOps tools including Jenkins / Confluence / Jira / Artifactory / GIT / VAULT
• Working on-call rota for support
• Working on Disaster Recovery tests

What you'll need

• IT Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Proven experience working within Financial industry and supporting within Trading environment
• Motivated candidate willing to learn and operate with DevOps tools
• Motivated to learn new technologies and modern Cloud practices
• Experience supporting with Java applications on Unix platforms
• Proven experience of strong scripting skills (shell / python for example)
• Strong English communication skills, German would be a bonus

Nice to have

• Experience working with WAF (Web Application Firewall) would be bonus
• Strong background with scripting (Ansible configuration management experience would be a bonus)
