Product Manager for OEM service business

VAT is the globally leading developer and manufacturer of high-performance vacuum valves, multi-valve units, vacuum modules and edge-welded metal bellows.


YOUR CHALLENGES:

  • Responsible for the service business in the Global Key Account teams
  • Developing strategies to grow the service business with these OEM customers based on market and competitive intelligence
  • Deriving business plans from the growth strategy and directing market introduction plans
  • Identifying customer technical roadmaps and drive corresponding product development
  • Ensure profitable sales growth by a strong product positioning incl. pricing
  • Internal alignment with Business Unit Semiconductor Solutions Group (SSG) on OEM strategy
  • Monitoring the market to address evolving needs and trends, and defend VAT’s market position
  • Managing sales and profitability targets for the dedicated OEMs

YOUR COMPETENCES:

  • Bachelor/Master's degree in sciences / engineering or equivalent education
  • Additional degree in economics and / or marketing or successful record of accomplishment in a commercial position
  • Background or experience in Key Account Management or OEM business of high-tech products beneficial
  • Experience in product management within a high tech international environment, preferably in the vacuum industry orcritical component B2B business
  • Experience with challenging negotiations with large customers, especially US-based companies
  • Fluent business English skills in written and spoken
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and know-how to further build our customer’s trust and loyalty
  • Ability to provide fact-driven solutions and to translate the market requirements into growth strategies with related execution plans
  • Strong interpersonal, time management, analytical and communication skills
