Our ICT Section consists of 20 highly skilled employees in diverse, interdisciplinary roles that support our entire operation and develop innovative ICT solutions for our mission. As a dynamically growing non-profit organisation with a global presence, we continuously work on transforming and future-proofing our ICT infrastructure and operational processes.
To achieve our ambitious ICT goals, we are seeking an experienced Network and Device Administrator (m/f/d). In this pivotal role, you will help ensure ICT operations continuity, optimize our network environment, and support a meaningful, international context through your work.
Your duties
- Network Management and Monitoring: Manage and optimize network infrastructure, including the implementation and ongoing monitoring of the Cisco Meraki SD-WAN network. Responsible for setting up, configuring, and maintaining network environments across all locations to ensure stable and secure network connectivity.
- Firewall and Security Configuration: Replace existing Sophos firewalls with Cisco Meraki solutions at Swiss locations and configure them. Ensure the new network infrastructure aligns with current security standards and integrates seamlessly into the overall ICT architecture.
- Device Management: Oversee all devices through Microsoft Intune, including rolling out new Windows 11-compatible devices and configuring endpoint protection measures. Manage and maintain compliance policies for devices.
- Troubleshooting and Support for Networks and Devices: Responsible for quick identification and resolution of network and device issues. Assist the Helpdesk team with escalated incidents, ensuring smooth operational continuity through proactive monitoring and regular maintenance.
- Security and Compliance Management for Devices: Implement and enforce security policies for devices, such as MFA enforcement and USB storage prohibition. Collaborate with the ICT security team to maintain security standards across devices.
Our requirements
- Experience in Network Management: Comprehensive knowledge in managing SD-WAN environments (preferably Cisco Meraki) and firewall management, including configuration and maintenance.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Device Management: Experience in device rollout and management, as well as in Mobile Device Management (MDM/MAM). Familiarity with security standards and compliance policies related to device management.
- Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting Skills: Strong analytical skills and experience in quickly resolving network and device issues, including escalated support from the Helpdesk.
- Communication Skills and Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with other teams, particularly ICT Security and Helpdesk. Strong communication skills to explain network and device issues both technically and in user-friendly terms.
- ICT Security Awareness: Experience in implementing and monitoring ICT security measures at the network and device levels, as well as knowledge of the latest security practices and threats.
