Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Compliance Training Designer with expertise in adult learning concepts to join our Compliance team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our Exact Sciences adheres to regulatory standards and promotes a culture of compliance through effective training and educational programs. This role requires a blend of compliance knowledge, instructional design skills, and an understanding of adult learning principles to deliver impactful training experiences. At times, there may also be the requirement to perform follow-up and escalation to meet accelerated time-sensitive deadlines. This position will also be required to facilitate specific trainings as needed as part of the overall execution of the Compliance Program.
This position can be located at an Exact Sciences location in Wisconsin, California, or Arizona, or remote- based.
Essential Duties
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develop, implement, and manage compliance training programs tailored to various healthcare roles, including clinical and administrative staff.
- Utilize adult learning theories and principles to design engaging and effective training materials and sessions.
- Create and deliver workshops, webinars, and interactive learning modules that address compliance requirements, ethical standards, and organizational policies.
- Develop online, on-demand (asynchronous) eLearning courses, as well as live (synchronous), instructor-led training (ILT) and/or live, virtual instructor-led training (VILT) courses.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify training opportunities and compliance challenges within the organization.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop content that aligns with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.
- Continuously update training materials to reflect changes in regulations, policies, and best practices.
- Lead training sessions, ensuring that content is presented clearly and interactively.
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of adult learners, including varying levels of experience and learning styles.
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Use evaluation results to refine and enhance training approaches and materials.
- Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure training programs remain relevant and effective.
- Monitor compliance with training requirements and track completion rates.
- Prepare and present reports on training activities, outcomes, and areas for improvement to senior management
- Work closely with compliance officers, legal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between training programs and compliance initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to staff regarding compliance-related questions and issues.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Business, Educational Technology, Information Technology, Human Resources, or related field as outlined in the essential duties.
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design or learning and development, or related field as outlined in the essential duties.
- Proven experience designing and implementing impactful and innovative learning projects.
- Demonstrated experience in using eLearning authoring tool Articulate 360.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement impactful and innovative learning projects, such as instructor-led materials, self-directed modules, and multimedia learning assets using video, graphic, and audio simulations.
- Experience facilitating training workshops.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications
- Certificates in Instructional Design or E-Learning.
- Specialized training programs focused on instructional design or e-learning technologies.
- Experience with corporate learning experience design.
- Demonstrated ability to design using various Learning Management Systems and Learning Experience Platforms.
Salary Range:
$85,000.00 - $135,000.00The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
