PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The purpose of this role is to streamline Avolta's FP&A processes through AI-driven planning and automation. The role involves implementing data forecasting, collaborating on data integration projects, optimizing tasks with Anaplan, and supporting master data improvements. Additionally, it supports key business decisions and leads ad-hoc projects to boost profitability. This position will report directly to the Global Controlling Director, and will be based in Basel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
FP&A Process Development and AI Integration
- Develops and streamlines the Avolta FP&A processes across departments
- Implements AI-driven planning for budgets and forecasts
- Drives automation to improve performance and cash generation
Collaboration & Anaplan Optimization
- Collaborates on data integration and harmonization projects
- Leads brainstorming sessions to enhance and automate tasks using Anaplan in areas such as Supply Chain, Commercial Negotiation, and Operations
- Implements the Anaplan Optimizer for assortment decisions
Data Management and Continuous Improvement
- Supports master data changes for better group-wide analysis
- Embraces change to serve as a role model for future controlling setups
- Undertakes ad-hoc projects to support business priorities and profitability initiatives
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Degree (University / FH) in the relevant field (Finance, IT) with at least 5 years’ experience in Controlling, modelling and / or consulting in the area
- Ability to combine IT and Finance knowhow
- IT Project experience
- Collaborator
- Strong analytical skills and end-to-end focus
- Highly interested in the bigger picture and in the work of different departments throughout the company
- Able to prioritize and deliver results within short timeframes
- Experienced Anaplan user / model builder
- Fluent in English
