Job description
As a Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring our company's financial compliance. You will independently manage the monthly and annual financial closings, oversee the cash flow, and act as a primary contact for our auditors and banking partners. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- The control of the book entries in the general ledger, the debtors ledger and the creditors ledger.
- Maintain and update the documentation of the internal control system and improve our financial processes.
- Prepare various financial reports, ensuring full tax and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in the budgeting exercises and manage the asset inventories.
- Provide essential support to your accounting colleagues.
- Act as a key user for our ERP - Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Profile
You hold a Finance and Accounting Specialist certification (Brevet) or an equivalent qualification like a Bachelor degree in Business Administration. Backed by an experience in a similar role, ideally within a multicultural environment. You bring strong proficiency with data management systems (ERP), excellent Excel skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to our ERP system as a key user. A collaborative mindset, coupled with an open and dynamic personality, will help you to succeed in this role. Additionally, a commitment to deliver high-quality, timely work is essential, as you will be an integral part of our financial team.
Professional requirements
- Finance and Accounting Specialist certification (Brevet) or an equivalent qualification like a Bachelor degree in Business Administration
- Experience in a similar role in a multicultural environment
Languages
- Fluent in English
- Good German or French skills would be a serious asset
