The assignment will be limited starting from 02nd of January 2025 until 31st of March 2025.

In this position the selected candidate will have a possibility of an extension depending on the workload, as well as of the individual's performance.

Description

The Stock Controller (m/f/d) will assist the Hardware Renewal Project team by conducting a comprehensive inventory scan of IT hardware prior to project completion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing a stock take of users, devices etc. and providing reports of the updated inventory numbers, by carrying out the following task areas:

  • Serves as the primary contact for matters related to IT hardware inventory
  • Participates in the rollout of a new procedure for managing client hardware inventory
  • Conducts routine inspections and audits of client hardware assets and the Configuration Management Database
  • Keeps a current and accurate record of all identified issues or discrepancies
  • Verifies that master data aligns with audit results.
  • Generates and provides scheduled and ad hoc inventory audit reports
  • Supports activities related to organizing and maintaining the stockroom
  • Assists the team with relocating IT hardware between different locations as needed

Profile

In order to be considered for this role, the ideal candidate must have:

  • Successfully completed academic background
  • At least 1 year of working experience in inventory management and/or stock control
  • Ideally experienced in inventory taking and management, providing reports on inventory, including client inventory experience
  • Experience with ServiceNow/SAP or a similar platform for data entry/reporting
  • Solid English skills, any further foreign languages would be a plus
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, accuracy, speed and attention to detail
  • Ability to carry out assigned tasks in a professional, efficient and timely manner with a sense of ownership and follow through
  • Strong communications skills to enable delivery of clear communication to different audiences, to manage customer expectations and service partner deliverables
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, drive and enthusiasm
