As a Global Application Service Delivery Manager (SDM) you lead a multinational team of Application Managers and specialists, developing, implementing, and executing the IT capability to either plan, build, run or support IT solutions resulting from Business or Support-Function demands.
Your Responsibilities
Lead multiple multinational teams in delivering services to specific Business Units, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives
Oversee the strategy, operations, HR management, and budgeting for the department, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
Lead service and project teams, ensuring high standards of performance and delivery
Ensure the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed with HR support, and drive strategic organizational development
Guide, motivate, and develop direct and indirect subordinates in line with HR policies, promoting the growth and satisfaction of both the company and employees
Implement agile development methodologies to enhance flexibility and responsiveness in service delivery
Establish a stable end-to-end service delivery framework for globally used applications in accordance with ITIL4 standards
Guide and support IT implementation projects, ensuring successful execution and alignment with business needs
Develop a governance setup and conduct service/project reviews for the service-receiving organization in line with global IT standards
Hold financial responsibility for all sub-teams, managing budgets effectively to support strategic objectives
Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 10+ years of experience in IT operational management
At least 10 years of profound experience in IT technology, applications development, and management
Minimum of 5 years of experience in large global corporations
Over 5 years of experience managing third-party providers on a global scale
