This position requires rotating shift work, including nights, weekends & holidays

Aktivitäten

· Plan, administer, and monitor area operations and maintenance activities to ensure unit safety, environmental and quality performance meet platform objectives

· Initiate preliminary investigation of incidents, document and communicate information, enter into Ramses

· Improve area safety and operational reliability through follow-up on identified corrective actions

· Attend RCFA as ad hoc member and communicate lessons learned from incident investigations, Root Cause Analysis, etc.

· Administer Operator training for unit modifications (MOC’s) or new unit startups, insuring proper documentation is completed for PSM compliance.

· Act as backfill for Shift Supervisor and Area Process Supervisors during vacation and training.

· Support Operation’s response during Unit upsets or emergencies.

· Serve as an Approving Authority within work authorization procedure.

· Mentor the Area Team members to improve competencies and to understand plant-wide operator expectations.

· Ensure procedure reviews are being conducted and participate in “what if” exercises to ensure that exercises are being conducted.

· Monitor and ensure operators are completing their required training within the training schedule and are prepared for tests/walk throughs; participate in qualification walkthroughs

· Support Shift Supervisor in achieving platform Operating Plan, troubleshooting, challenging constrains, and OWL compliance

· Support SU/SD of critical equipment or process moves and ensure appropriate existing procedures are utilized.

· Coordinate communication between other Areas regarding multi-Unit and Refinery Systems moves and line-ups.

· Participate in Shift Supervisor daily ops meeting to report constraints and stay informed on current issues and economics.

· Complete Shift Report and participate in Area operations meetings.

· Ensure that make readies are performed to meet maintenance schedule, and support unit shutdown or turnaround activities.

· Ensure monthly checks (car seal, heater, pump/compressor, fin fan surveys) and EDMS calendar items are completed

· Review unit operations with the Console Operator (including active and shelved alarms, products on spec, etc...)

· Ensure Operator logs are completed with the appropriate level of detail (all questions answered)

· Perform initial coaching and counseling on personnel and draft disciplinary action for approvalDevelop operator schedules including approval of shift and vacation trades

Kontext & Umgebung

· Responsible for coordinating all people and activities in their assigned area. These areas will have multiple units that are not directly related. The Area Shift Foreman must ensure the area functions well as its own area while being sensitive to the impact its area has on the entire Platform.

· Typical work is a combination of routine, special projects, and daily operational changes. Must work closely with multiple lines of promotion to achieve the objectives set forth by the Company. Working within the safety procedures, environmental regulations, labor contract and Company guidelines, the Area Shift Foreman makes decisions regarding daily operation of the area assigned, while keeping the Shift Supervisor advised of major changes.

· Will support First Responders in emergency situations including First Aid Responders, Fire Brigade, Rescue and HazMat.

· Will be able to communicate and have good working relations with the following: Local Law Enforcement, Fire Departments, Outside Marine Inspection Companies, Sabine Pilots, US Coast Guard, Barge Companies, BTP Shift Coordinators, Pipeline Shift Coordinators, and other TotalEnergies Groups.Must be able to communicate, be knowledgeable and effective when implementing and or executing the following: Impact Enterprise documentation, Safety Policies, Safety meetings, Safety Audits, SAP Notifications/Work Orders, Hot Work Permits, Work Authorization permits, Downgraded Situation forms, SDS, Drug and Alcohol policy, Letters of Protest, Training Mine, and USW/IBEW Union Contract
