Integrated Business Planning Intern
for its global Pharma Division Headquarter based in Allschwil- Basel.
Position Overview:
-
Enhance the Exec S&OP (*) focus on specific business topics (elevations), on actions, scenarios and decision.
(*) Executive Sales and Operations Planning is a monthly business review with the EPD Senior Leadership Team, focused on managing demand and supply, reviewing changes and escalations.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop a new methodology for the monthly Exec S&OP meetings emphasizing focus on issues, risks / opportunities, exceptions and escalations.

Conduct interviews with selected stakeholders to get their perspective. Compile insights based on interview and data.

Standardize templates to be used for this purpose by gathering best practices from other functions or external consultancy support.

Conduct a pilot with new approach and templates.

Work with IBP manager and Exec S&OP leads (mainly Finance and Ops DVP) to identify issues and exceptions to be elevated to Exec S&OP for which new approach should be utilized.

Collect data and prepare escalation slides for those topics in initial S&OP cycles in collaboration with regions or countries.

Draft presentation framework and storyline for the business, focusing on storytelling and executive presentation.

Adjust the process and templates based on feedback and recommend and implement actions (including change management practices) to integrate new approach into the monthly routine.

Develop summary on progress of implementation and areas to fine-tune.
Qualifications:

Advanced problem-solving skills, using both quantitative and qualitative analysis

Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with strong emphasis on data analysis and slide writing
