Lakers Sport AG is the umbrella organisation of the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers. Around 60 permanent employees work for the company, ensure the entire operation and put their heart and soul into creating the best conditions for sporting success. In addition, they do their utmost to offer the spectators an experience not only on but also off the ice. During the games, they are supported by 300 volunteers.
The Rapperswil Ice Skating Club was founded on 17 January 1945. The club runs 22 teams as well as a hockey school with about 450 active players, of which about 300 are youngsters. Today's SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers organise around 500 games / tournaments per season.
