The Hotel Murtenhof & Krone, are old patrician houses from the 16th century and is a 3-star superior hotel, in the heart of the old town of Murten with a beautiful location next to the castle. The hotel has a beautiful, heatable panoramic lake terrace, open-air terrace, a spacious terrace with garden. All floors are accessible by wheelchair and lift. The hotel is very easy to reach by public transport as well as by car and is the only hotel in the old town with its own parking spaces and an underground garage. Only 10 minutes walk from the train station, lake and 4 minutes walk from the shopping street. The Hotel Murtenhof & Krone is personally managed and maintained by the Joachim family. Our close relationship with our own business is the basis of our many years’ success.
