No career perspectives
For the Swiss business unit: No training plans, no opportunities for promotion or salary raise. Incompetent managers staying in position because of good networking/ personal relations. Bad work climate, partly due to bad sales and partly due to pathologies inherited from Alstom times. Recent lay-offs of 24 R&D employees, but no manager. Many people voluntarily leave the company, too many to ignore. Mainly micromanagement performed by upper management. Mother company: It does not operate according to private sector standards, as it is owned by Italian state and Chinese power company. Very slow and ineffective in decision-making.
