This works well in the company
There were certainly some positive aspects, but in the end, disappointment prevailed.
This could be improved
At the age of 63, after more than 32 years as a systems engineer / team leader in the mainframe environment at T-Systems, I was made redundant after a long illness. The 'support' from T-Systems after my dismissal was limited to the offer of a visit to an external social counseling center. I am still waiting in vain for a card as a token of appreciation for my long loyalty to the company and the work I have done. I believe that the main responsibility for this lies largely with my last direct superior (who had only recently become my superior), his superior and HR. Analogous to the Eurovision Song Contest evaluation, this results in 0 points for me: T-Systems 0 points.
