This works well in the company
Good team, efficient, uncomplicated cooperation. Good atmosphere in the team. The work with the course participants could be designed quite freely. Very diverse clientele from all countries of the world. The salary is o.k. for a private school.
This could be improved
The working conditions were good until spring 2022. I felt comfortable. Then there was a conflict between a newly hired employee and me. This resulted in a warning for me, which was very unfair. It is beyond the scope of this article to describe the content. My direct supervisor acted unfairly in my eyes, which was never the case before the incident. Finally, I began to fight against Herbst, which was followed by my termination. Over time, I realized that this was a contrived story. The real reason for termination was my age. I was too expensive. Apparently, experience counts for little. A look at the company's homepage then also shows that most of the employees are very young. On the homepage, the teachers, to which I belonged, are not shown. But I was by far the oldest in our team.

As a school with students from all over the world, a diverse team is important to us: that's why we employ staff from over 50 countries, ranging in age from 17 to 80 (average age: 45). Suggestions for improvement from employees are always welcome. However, for organizational, financial, legal or infrastructural reasons, we cannot implement every suggestion. Especially in the last few months, when we simultaneously started a large number of refugees and people seeking protection in our classes, as well as several new teachers taking up their jobs, ensuring the school's operation was our top priority.
