Founded in 1898, Hiltl is the oldest vegetarian restaurant in the world according to Guinness World Records. Today, the Zurich-based company with around 300 employees from more than 80 nations is managed by the Hiltl family’s fourth generation: with healthy indulgence, gastronomic passion and responsibility towards the diverse creation of mankind, animals and nature. At the headquarters on Sihlstrasse in the served à la carte restaurant with a buffet, bistro, take-away, seminar rooms, the Vegimetzg with the first vegetarian butchery in Switzerland and the Hiltl Academy, the competence centre for vegetarian and vegan indulgence, as well as outside the Hiltl flagship: in the Pflanzbar at Blumen Krämer near Paradeplatz, the roof terrace at the PKZ Women clothing store on Bahnhofstrasse, in the Sihlpost on Europaplatz near Zurich Main Station, on Langstrasse and during summer in two summer restaurants by Lake Zurich. On weekends you can dance through the night at the Hiltl Club. The vegetarian and vegan delicacies, which are freshly prepared in the restaurant’s own kitchen, can also be enjoyed at caterings and various events. Since 2009 Hiltl and SWISS have a tasty cooperation and passengers can enjoy our vegetarian delights as well as Hiltl «Special Meals» high above the clouds.
Through my experience as a service employee gastronomy / general in Germany, I was able to acquire very good and different knowledge in diverse areas. Teamwork, organization, resilience and service orientation are my strengths. Ambition, resilience, reliability and the ability to cope with changing tasks are also part of this.
