LGT is the largest Private Banking and Asset Management group in the world that is wholly owned by an entrepreneurial family - the Princely House of Liechtenstein.
As the family office of the Princely Family of Liechtenstein, we have a great deal of experience in managing family assets. This expertise is also the basis for how we work with our clients. We combine our long-established services in Private Banking and Asset Management with additional services, for example in the field of Philanthropy.
By being privately owned, a long-term and sustainable strategy and stability are guaranteed – for our clients and our staff.
LGT IS AN ATTRACTIVE EMPLOYER
Long-term planning and continuity are also important aspects for us with regard to employees. At over 20 locations in Europe, Asia, America and the Middle East we not only offer exciting career opportunities in Private Banking and Asset Management, but also further education possibilities. Our company culture is marked by a traditional, stable environment with fast decision processes. LGT Bank Switzerland is the first private bank in Switzerland to receive the accolade "Great Place to Work" for 2019. This attests to its outstanding quality as a workplace and its strong culture of trust.

This works well in the company
As an intern I am allowed to do a lot of things on my own. There is a pleasant working atmosphere and the doors are always open when questions arise.
The interviews were very pleasant, but several interviews took place on different days.
This could be improved
As an intern, I have the opportunity to get to know two LGT departments better. Even in my one-year internship I would think it would be great if there would be the possibility to work in more departments (e.g. four departments for three months).
