VaLoo

VaLoo is the Swiss network dedicated to promoting circular sanitation. Our mission is to connect stakeholders, inform the society, and contribute to the creation of favorable framework conditions for sustainable sanitation in Switzerland. Founded in 2021, our association already has around 100 members and partners, ranging from individuals to companies and research institutes. Our current activities include awareness-raising campaigns, thematic workshops, the facilitation of pilot projects in circular sanitation, as well as political lobbying. We value flexibility and creativity, enabling us to adapt our activities to current opportunities and optimize our impact. These activities are supported by a small salaried team and enriched by the voluntary commitment of our members, including the 9 members of the board. Our organization is based on horizontal governance and collective intelligence, which are at the heart of our team spirit. Thanks to our collaborative work, VaLoo has already had a significant impact and will continue to pave the way towards a framework conducive to circular sanitation in Switzerland.
