Not everything is great at Unia - but that's not the case in most companies. I can't speak for all departments, but basically we have open and fair management, good working conditions and a very human working atmosphere.

Sometimes management needs to take a closer look and prevent people from overworking themselves. But that would also be a bit of personal responsibility on the part of the employees.

I joined Unia to stand up for the Swiss workers. However, when I saw how they were let down, I could no longer stand behind them. As everyone is overworked, members who urgently need help are often ignored. There is an irritable atmosphere and the superiors expect impossible things while they themselves do not perform very well.

Unia should also comply with what it demands from others and likes to publicly denounce. But they do not. The work at Unia is characterized by massive pressure to perform and a bad atmosphere.

Wanting to help others in the name of a union would make sense, unfortunately the union does not help, does not keep its own promises and values, members who need help are often ignored. Criticism of the procedure is not desired, otherwise you will be punished by the superiors for it. The appearance must be maintained that everything is great although it is not so!

Outwardly, the appearance is awakened that everything is great but inside is anything but great! Bad working atmosphere and high performance pressure are commonplace.

Thought long and hard, but found nothing. That's sad, but true.

Honesty and openness would be a great help. Human interaction with employees would be desirable.

According to the evaluations, you have a very bad reputation, but the application process seemed correct to me.

The employees are very friendly and the interview was also very pleasant. The interview was structured and all my questions were answered satisfactorily.

Culture of feedback: After the interview, I never heard anything again despite several phone calls and an email requesting feedback. If I had imagined a completely different kind of union institution... I never received a refusal, but after 1 week the same job was advertised again... I was very disappointed.

Interesting not everyday fields of work, social, multicultural, thinking & contributing desired. There is also room for lateral thinkers or people who do not comply with the standard.

It is not always easy to move within a political organization. Although decentralised structures take regional "specialities" into account, they make cooperation more difficult.

I can't tell you. But the reputation that the Unia has has only been confirmed to me.

Clear, open communication, honesty. It's funny that you just don't get an answer once the job has been filled. Dealing with people at Unia still seems to have a lot of potential for improvement.

Not much. Outside, one is propagandized to be a social and decent employer, but the truth only becomes apparent when one has worked there.

Decent dealings with employees would be particularly important. But there are also major shortcomings in all other areas.
