More appearance than reality
This works well in the company
The low salary is made up for with a bonus in the event of a good financial year. As an employee, you are not expected to have a lot of competencies, which is why you can often take it easy and allow yourself a misstep or two. The "you" culture is also lived here. It is an excellent place to start a career, to re-enter a career or to make a lateral move if you want to dive into a new professional field and have no previous experience (e.g. as a springboard for administrative jobs.) Older people who want to take it easy before they retire would also feel welcome here. As a TCS employee, you work for one of the best-known Swiss companies. The image is really impeccable and you enjoy some benefits on the side. In addition to the discount on TCS products, you also benefit from some private sales, discounts on driver safety training courses, etc.

TCS is a traditional, Switzerland-wide known company and not profit-oriented. Therefore, one should be aware that the salary will be rather low and that it will remain rather low in the following years. You work a 42-hour week. Depending on the company you work for, you should not expect a highly modern, agile company here. There is a classic conservative top-down management with really a lot of hierarchy levels, which seem to become more and more, contrary to the trends. The work and processes are not exactly contemporary and therefore perhaps no longer interesting for many young people. There are very many departments, sections, subsidiaries, etc., some of which work according to their own rules/guidelines and have completely different responsibilities. Customers and employees quickly lose track of these responsibilities. That's why many calls are forwarded somewhere until they finally end up back at their own department. As already mentioned, TCS is not profit-oriented and does not feel much competitive pressure. As an employee, you should be prepared for this, since there is not much to gain in terms of career here and the company does not make an effort to adapt to the course of time and does not strive for any major innovations. There are many people who have landed in a management position through acquaintance. You also meet many so-called "freeloaders" or "quiet quitters" for whom the store simply runs and who couldn't imagine a better place to work. Young people with energy who are looking for professional development are rather advised not to apply here. Perhaps dealing with older cadres would not be comfortable for young, urban people either.

Beautiful building and at least a "you" culture. The employees are regularly informed and there is an exchange within the team.

As a leading player, TCS would have very exciting market opportunities, but administration and control are widespread. Unfortunately, agility is just an empty phrase. Depending on the team, the working atmosphere is good and you can make small things happen.

Great team and working atmosphere
This works well in the company
TCS is very diverse and offers a lot of opportunities to help shape and develop the company. I also like the fact that the focus is on customers/members and not shareholders.
This could be improved
As there are a lot of projects going on at the moment, the workload is sometimes relatively high, but it is also exciting to be able to help shape the future.
