Senior Python Developer Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Python Developer to strengthen our banking client in Zürich. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing our client’s software applications to meet the evolving needs of their business. This is the perfect position for someone who is passionate about Python programming and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
- Adapt to evolving technologies and frameworks to contribute to the development of web and software solutions
- Collaborate with the development team to design, develop and maintain scalable and efficient Python applications
- Diagnose and resolve software problems quickly
- Develop back-end components to enhance responsiveness and performance
- Write clean, maintainable and efficient code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality
Requirements
- Proficient in Python development with a solid understanding of frameworks such as Django, Flask and evolving technologies
- Ability to collaborate in a medium-sized team of 6 to 10 members with diverse skills
- Strong communication skills to interact with client managers and the development team
- Tech-savvy and passionate about exploring new technologies and innovations
- Experience working on GenAI implementation in an enterprise environment
- Fluent English skills are a must, German language skills are significant advantage
