THE ROLE

The Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich is located in the heart of the Old Town, in the main business center, close to the city's leisure attractions and just a short walk from the shores of Lake Zurich. The Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich has 80 guest rooms and suites and three dining venues, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant and a lobby lounge. The hotel is ideal for meetings and events with its newly renovated event facilities, including a grand historic ballroom.

As a Laundry Attendant you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Carrying out uniform fittings and sewing work
• Receiving, checking and delivering guest laundry
• Ensuring that guest laundry is cleaned properly
• Proper sorting, cleaning, ironing and packing of guest laundry
• Managing and issuing hotel uniforms
• Support with inventories

As Laundry Attendant, we expect from you:

• Experience in housekeeping, especially in the upscale hotel industry
• Experience in the field of tailoring or existing sewing skills
• A strong service orientation and independent way of working
• Flexibility - your position includes weekend and public holiday shifts
• Open-mindedness, a sense of responsibility and the ability to work in a team
• Very good knowledge of English. Further foreign language skills are an advantage
