Expected qualifications:

• Master or Business School / Engineering Degree in Business, Economy or Finance with specialization in Energy
• 1st experience in the renewable energies sector is desirable
• A first experience in the development of renewable energies in Africa would be a real plus
• Knowledge of renewable economics
• Negotiation skills

DRIVING LICENSE IS MANDATORY

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel)
• English: level C1
• French: level C1

Aktivitäten

Zambia represents a potential large-scale wind and solar market for the TotalEnergies (1GW+). This market offers great potential for the company with the energy crisis affecting Zambia and the needs of the prosperous and energy-intensive mining sector of the copperbelt. While TotalEnergies Marketing and Service has been in Zambia for 70 years in Zambia, the Company doesn’t have dedicated resources on the ground.

As a Business Developer for Renewable Energies in Zambia, your main tasks on this VIE mission will be :

• Coordination and management of local partners, development of working relationships
• Coordination and management of project service providers: technical, legal, tax, environmental studies, etc.
• Representation of the Company and support in discussions and negotiations during meetings with authorities (representatives of the Ministries of Energy, Finance, regulator, national electricity company etc.)
• Market monitoring, detection of opportunities among energy buyers, project developers
• The preparation and follow-up of the missions of the team based in France.

The selected candidate will receive a VIE allowance according to the Business France rates.

The affiliate will provide an accommodation and a car. DRIVING LICENSE IS MANDATORY.
