Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and driven Venture Capital Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will analyze investment opportunities, conduct due diligence, and support portfolio companies in achieving sustainable growth. You will work closely with entrepreneurs and our experienced team to drive value creation in transformative industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Investment Analysis: Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities across target sectors. Conduct detailed market research and competitive analysis to assess industry trends. Perform financial modeling and valuation of startups and growth-stage companies. Prepare investment memos and presentations for Internal decision-making. Deal Execution: Support all stages of the deal process, including due diligence, negotiations, and closing. Collaborate with legal teams to structure investment agreements such as AMCs. Portfolio Management: Monitor the performance of portfolio companies, providing financial and strategic insights. Assist in developing growth strategies and operational improvements for portfolio firms. Track key performance indicators and prepare regular reports for stakeholders. Market Engagement: Build relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, and industry professionals. Attend pitch events, networking sessions, and industry conferences to source deals and represent Anker Consulting.

Requirements:

Educational Background: A master’s degree, preferably from a prestigious university (HEC, ETHZ, HSG), in finance, business, economics, entrepreneurship or a related field. Prior Experience: Prior Experience in Venture Capital through previous positions, Internships or Fellowships. Knowledge and Skills: Strong financial modeling and analytical skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Proficiency in automation tools, data visualization and workflow automation software is highly preferred. Passion for technology, innovation, and sustainability-driven investments. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required. Fluency in other languages such as German, French, and Arabic is preferred.
