Our mandate
For our Basel team we are looking for an
IT Building Operations System Administrator/Technician (f/m/d)
Your mission
- New user onboarding and training to end users
- Act as point of contact for building automation and process automation
- Responsible for the first level support to end users and Operations teams to provide
maintenance, support, and troubleshooting of IT components and infrastructure - Diagnose IT issues and connect with appropriate teams for resolution. Route Incidents/Requests to Informatics or specific vendors where appropriate
- Manage vendor engagements
- Record incidents and requests in RoSe/SNow (ITSM Tool). Prioritize and ensure the resolution of incidents and requests, ensuring minimal disruption to operation
- Evaluate and test new technologies (hardware and software) when needed
- Ensure changes to IT systems are implemented smoothly and with minimal disruption
Your profile
- Minimum education level is a bachelor's degree, preferably in a science or technology discipline
- Minimum 3+ years technical IT experience
- A focus on solution delivery, with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with your team, technical IT partners, and customers
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form to non-technical audiences
- A collaborative and growth mindset
- Knowledge of animal facility operations and experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
- Fluent communication skills in English and German
