The Position
Summary:
As the Global Practice Lead - Recruiting, you actively contribute to the strategic vision and direction of the Integrated Workforce Strategies Chapter and continuously seek opportunities for innovation and value creation. As a member of the chapter enabling team you will work with the Chapter Lead and the other Area of Practice Leads to ensure fulfillment of the chapter vision and strategy as well as excellent delivery of priorities. You will inspire and engage the chapter members to collaborate across the network and exponentially contribute towards Roche’s 10 Year Ambitions and the People & Culture Aspirations and Strategies.
Within the Recruiting Area of Practice, you are accountable for setting the strategic direction, governance and success measures for the practice area, setting conditions to empower prioritization and decision making, and providing coaching and development opportunities. You will continuously monitor market trends and opportunities to enhance this practice and make sure Roche has a best in class recruitment organization.
Recruiting is a global practice, operating with a global framework to allow the best possible experience for our multiple stakeholders. Because we hire in different geographies, our practice will reflect local cultural and legal nuances.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership for the chapter including contributing to the vision, strategy, planning, budgeting, governance and organization design

Define a clear strategy for recruitment globally

Partner with other AoP Leads to attract, assess and hire the best talents for Roche
-
Partner with DE&I to increase diversity of hires
-
Help to prioritize activities
-
Drive the IWS mindset within the practice
-
Accountable for and foster capability development for the practice
-
Define quality standards, service level agreements and KPIs for the practice
-
Monitor trends in the market
-
Maintaining a strong external network of Recruitment Lead peers in the industry to learn and share best practices

Further Requirements and Information:

10 plus years of related work experience with increasing scope; deep domain experience in recruitment

This is a full-time (100%) position

Strong business acumen,

Experience in building high performing teams

Strong communication skills, able to forge relationships with a wide range of colleagues across many functions / capabilities and locations

Fluent English, German a clear plus

Preferred location: Switzerland, Germany. Would consider other surrounding locations, if the person is willing to be in Basel on a regular basis.
