Mission:
GL BA/DCS - The Fixed Income department at Societe Generale aim at providing a full set of services to Institutional and Corporate clients that will support their investment or risk management targets.
GLBA/DCS: Thanks to market-leading research, engineering, trading and e-commerce capabilities, our clients benefit from strategic insights, flow information, competitive pricing and seamless execution across rates, credit, and emerging markets.
Credit/Rates/EM: We service our clients on the full credit, rates and EM spectrum from Investment Grade to High Yield and on cash as well as indices, IRS and singe name CDS.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Respond to various request from clients related to products, on boarding process, events, documentation e.g. legal and commercial; Analyse, investigate, research, manage and resolve queries received from clients
- Act as lead the lead relationship owner for areas of clients/ products allocated within area of responsibility
- Support on-boarding new clients e.g. KYC and legal documentation to allow execution of transactions
- Low touch with clients with back-office/settlement issues
- Support on-boarding new clients e.g. KYC and legal documentation to allow execution of transactions Back-up of senior sales and support to other sales regions
- Must monitor the entire life cycle of own client data, including the approval of access rights as well as its delegation and decommissioning from all operating and back-up systems,
- Is in charge of implementing data classification guidelines (provided by RCO) as well as explaining and documenting exceptions.
- Must guarantee that Permanent Supervision (PS) and/or Fighting Back (FB) controls under his(her) responsibility is performed in due time and any duties related to regulatory topics are fulfilled (elearning completed, trade confirmation within the legal timeframe...); must liaise with his (her) COOS, SAFE and/or Compliance Officers to address any gap identified in the control framework related to his (her)activity
Profile required
Studies & experience:
- Graduate with a Master’s degree from Business/Engineering School or University
- Some market knowledge and experience in Investment banking/ financial services industry
- SocGen work experience would be considered an advantage
Language skills:
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- French or German would be an advantage but not essential
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of application, especially Word
