What You'll Do:

As a key hire for the growing IoT department, you will bridge the gap between technical development and operational execution, ensuring IoT products address customer needs while scaling effectively. You will:

• Develop and maintain strategic product roadmaps, balancing business priorities, customer needs, and technical feasibility
• Define clear and actionable Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) to guide development and ensure alignment with customer and business goals
• Own Product Lifecycles and Industrialization, and establish processes to transition IoT products from early prototypes to mass production
• Own IoT Device Programs of significant scope end to end, and manage dependencies, risks, and timelines to ensure smooth delivery of IoT products
• Define and track readiness milestones for industrialization, and work closely with R&D to address industrialization and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) challenges
• Collaborate with IoT Operations to leverage field data and feedback to improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency
• Drive cross-functional alignment between IoT, IT and other parts of the org (e.g. Sales & Marketing) to meet shared goals and product expectations
• Support the department’s growth by supporting supplier coordination, including quality tracking, production readiness, and cost alignment
• Prepare to build and lead a growing PLM team, mentoring future hires in program management and supply chain management roles

What You'll Bring:

• University degree in (electrical/computer/mechanical) engineering, or equivalent
• Strong understanding of IoT hardware and firmware development, with experience in transitioning products from R&D to mass production
• Familiarity with industrialization processes, including DFM, production tooling, and quality validation
• Proven experience in product lifecycle management, program management, or a similar role, preferably in IoT, hardware, or technology-driven industries
• Ability to create and manage roadmaps and PRDs, ensuring alignment with business and technical goals
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate across interdisciplinary teams, managing dependencies and ensuring smooth handoffs
• Strong communication skills to align stakeholders at all levels
• A track record of mentoring or managing team members is a strong plus
• Strategic and hands-on, capable of balancing high-level planning with execution
• Collaborative and cross-functional, adept at aligning diverse teams
