Medgate is a growing, internationally active Swiss digital health company with over 20 years of experience. In Switzerland, more than 300 motivated employees jointly pursue the goal of improving health care. More than 130 experienced doctors who are permanently employed by Medgate advise and treat patients around the clock via telephone, video and chat.
Are you passionate about digital health and analytics? Do you have a knack for transforming complex data into actionable insights? Medgate is looking for a dedicated Digital Analyst to help us monitor key performance indicators and enhance the digital experience for our internal users.
Your tasks:
- Collaborate closely with product owners and designers to investigate user behavior and conduct ad-hoc analyses, feeding valuable insights into the product backlog.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and other teams to define and implement effective data tracking strategies to derive user statistics.
- Establish and maintain processes for gathering automated analytics data.
- Analyze, interpret, and visualize data tailored for different audiences, such as doctors and marketing teams, acting as an internal consultant for data science and statistical queries.
- Develop, audit, and test campaigns to optimize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Work closely with our Data Engineer, reviewing pull requests and providing actionable feedback to product owners about product usage.
- Define, maintain, and utilize usage KPIs to drive product improvements.
- Specify actionable product increments to enhance app usage, retention, and other defined KPIs.
Your profile:
- Proven experience with Python/R and SQL to derive business insights.
- Proficiency in MS Power BI and familiarity with Azure cloud-based data infrastructure and services
- Strong knowledge of app and web analytics tools, with demonstrated skills in optimizing digital system usability.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and ETL tools (e.g., Prefect, Apache Airflow, AWS Glue).
- Familiarity with cloud-based data infrastructures (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure).
- Experience in data modeling and machine learning techniques.
- Comfortable using Git and the command line.
- Experience in the retail or health sector is a plus.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in both German and English.
- A strong interest in Digital Health and a passion for creating and shaping innovative solutions.
