The Credit and Obligor Risk Analytics (CORA) Development Server databases Administrator is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
Responsibilities:
The CORA Development Server database team supports multiple SQL Server databases to provide model developers with a repository of data sources required for model development as well as for testing of model’s robustness, stability, and overall performance.
Manage as part of a team the day-to-day activities of the CORA Development databases.
- User Entitlements
- Creation and ongoing database maintenance
- Internal and external feed processing (Monthly, Quarterly, Annually)
- Third-party vendor feeds
- Management of Data Subscriptions
- Compliance with Third-Party Management (TPM) Policy and Standards
- Relationship Management for Internal (CORA) and External clients
- Create and maintain documentation for new or existing databases and/or tables, including project plans, database/table descriptions, data analyses, processes, and quality controls.

- Liaise with business risk managers, clients and partners in the analysis and interpretation of new database/tables incorporating their feedback as appropriate.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years experience.
- Self-motivated and detail oriented.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of a variety of database development methodologies and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Practical experience using Python or R
- Practical experience in Administration of SQL, Oracle, and alike databases.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in working with large data sets and data pull and push from relational databases.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of a variety of model development and validation testing techniques covering risk models.
- Previous experience with database migrations (Microsoft SQL Server to Oracle and alike).
- Functional knowledge of Windows scripting languages, such as PowerShell and Windows command line, to automate tasks and/or complex processes.
- Prior financial data exposure is a plus
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
