Abbott Medical is currently looking for a
Marketing Manager (m/f/d) Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) - Switzerland
ROLE PURPOSE:
To develop marketing strategies, using all elements of the marketing mix, including brand development with the aim of increasing sales.
AREAS OF IMPACT:
- Working with the Country Managers to create and track in-country marketing and brand plans and to communicate to the commercial organisation as appropriate.
- Ensuring promotional campaigns within agreed spending limits and providing accurate reporting.
- Liaising closely and influencing the sales management and sales teams to ensure promotional campaigns are developed appropriately and executed effectively. Ensuring sales teams are well trained and able to execute strategies effectively.
- Liaising closely with all support functions (including Medical & Clinical, Regulatory, Customer Service, Reimbursement, Commercial Excellence, External Agencies and EMEA Marketing).
- Reporting Marketing KPI’s as deemed necessary by the Country Managers.
- Support in insights generation and Marketing Planning.
- Event management: responsible for congresses, patients and HCP events in Switzerland (ensure alignment with brand and marketing strategy) in collaboration with the Country Managers and Regional Sales Management.
- Collecting and reporting of competitor intelligence from the market.
- Meet and communicate with KOLs and other stakeholders to gain market insights, exchange product or market updates, create added-value.
- Analysing and interpreting sales data, develop measures and actions to meet sales and market share targets and drive profitable growth.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor in marketing or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in English and ideally in German, other languages (e.g. French, Italian) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device industry with proven know-how of product/portfolio management processes, ideally in the Cardiac Rhythm Management field.
- Experience in launching new products.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex medical and technical information.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders and medical professionals.
- Experience of brand management via digital marketing (social media advertising or campaigns).
- Use of data and analytics to monitor and optimize marketing campaigns.
- Solid understanding of the Swiss medical device environment and key technical/regulatory/reimbursement aspects.
- Willingness to travel approx. 30%
