HR Business Partner Schweiz

We are looking to hire a HR Business Partner to support HR activities for the HQ site Basel as well as supporting our manufacturing site in Visp. The role is responsible for developing and executing the HR strategy for these populations, together with the HR Lead for Switzerland in line with the HR strategy. You will have overall responsibility for adapting, coordinating, and supporting the people strategy. In this role, you will facilitate the implementation of HR initiatives, manage local labor and employee relations and other HR responsibilities. You will also provide coaching and counseling to the site population and the local HR Team. As a member of the HR team, you work actively on the HR strategies of Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all HR milestones are identified for the Basel HQ site and designated functions in Visp
  • Responsible for communication and site employer branding
  • Comply with all relevant statutory requirements
  • Manage employee and labor relations
  • Define business needs and collaborate withHR Services and HR CoE’s
  • Effectively implement, execute and adapt local and global HR processes to the local legal framework
  • Execute Organizational Development together with the business
  • Execute Talent Management, people development and succession planning for the sites
  • Provide strategic and tactical direction required to successfully execute union and employee representative body labor issues
  • Provide coaching and counseling to local leaders and managers

Key Requirements:

  • BA / BS degree in Business Administration, Psychology, law or HR
  • Business fluent in English and German
  • Min. 5+ years experience in HR, employment law, compensation, organizational planning and development, employee relations, safety, training and labor relations in Switzerland
  • Detail oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in integration and transformation of global processes
