Pricing Actuarial Analyst Casualty Line, 80-100%

Are you a skilled actuary passionate about pricing and eager to make an impact in a global setting?

As a Casualty Pricing Actuary, you will be an integral part of our Group Pricing Team, providing pricing support to local country actuaries and underwriters for Commercial Casualty portfolios. You will play a key role in building, enhancing, and maintaining global pricing tools for Liability and Motor, and providing pricing insights to global underwriting teams in order to ensure effective portfolio steering.

What you will do

• Working in a global team, provide pricing support and insights to local country actuaries and underwriters

• Develop, enhance, and maintain global pricing tools for Liability and Motor

• Provide pricing insights to central underwriting teams through portfolio deep dives, performance monitoring, and investigation of specific issues

• Build robust reporting that is given due consideration by decision-makers

• Support data projects to improve data quality across the group and leverage activities based on it

• Collaborate on global and cross-functional team projects

What you will bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related area

• 5 + years of experience in the insurance industry

• Fully qualified Actuary or working towards an actuarial qualification

• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

• Strong business and collaboration skills, responsive to service needs and operational demands

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Programming skills in R / Python

• Excellent English skills; additional language skills are an advantage
