Job Summary:
This engineer shall be responsible for delivery and support of dedicated and shared private network solutions and resolving issues for M2M One and M2M Connectivity customers. He/she must work closely with Sales team, mobile network providers on these services.
Responsibilities:
- Setup/manage/decommission subnets on shared private network instances, allocate IPs to SIMs on APNs, configure firewall rules as needed to support customer requirements (25%).
- Contribute to upgrades/migrations related to products that support M2M’s private network solutions (25%).
- Monitor tickets arriving on M2M Service Desk instances, respond and resolve tickets assigned to Services team across hardware, network and other engineering related solutions (50%).
Minimum Qualifications:
- An engineering degree covering topics related to telecommunications or networking.
- One year of experience in a role that involves working with computer networks or Service Desk.
- Attention to details and time management skills are essential. Must be a team player; resourceful; with problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Python programming.
