Our Global Product Strategy (GPS) team plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare by driving the strategic direction of our innovative product portfolio. As a member of the GPS team, you will be at the forefront of transforming groundbreaking scientific discoveries into accessible and impactful healthcare solutions for patients worldwide. You are an inspiring and strategic Global Access Chapter Lead, who leads our experienced team of Access Evidence and HTA Leaders in early definition and systematic integration of Access Evidence requirements for value articulation, demonstration and preservation in global commercialisation strategies across the life cycle. You will foster a culture of high-performance, empowerment, and accountability to ensure this team delivers high quality E2E access evidence strategies on disease area and asset level with an enterprise mindset. Your leadership will ensure seamless alignment and collaboration across Global Access, Pharma Development, Medical Affairs, US commercial, and Pharma International (PI), to ensure the successful delivery of our pharma ambition and One Pharma Strategy. .
Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the Global Access Evidence and HTA leaders, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, collaboration and empowerment. Coach and develop team members, ensuring enterprise leadership behaviors and supporting the development of industry-leading capabilities.

Lead the efforts of implementing advanced analytics platforms and digital tools to enhance the team's ability to gather, analyze and interpret data. This includes utilizing big data, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to streamline evidence generation processes and improve decision making.

Collaborate across the organization to ensure the early and systematic integration of access evidence strategy aspects into commercialisation strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Ensure consistency and alignment of unified access MTOs for disease areas and assets, and work closely with your peers in Global Access, Research & Development, the Therapeutic Areas, Portfolio Strategy, and US commercial and PI to ensure collective evidence efforts are fully aligned with the One Pharma Strategy.

Ensure the Evidence and HTA Leads contribute a strong and aligned evidence voice to support robust decision-making along the full value chain, from research & development to commercialization.

Work closely with Chapter Leads in Global Access and other relevant functions in GPS to ensure the most effective resource allocation to deliver portfolio priorities.
Who You Are
-
10 or more years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry with increasing levels of leadership and people management, with a proven track record of leading diverse teams.

Excellent knowledge of HTA processes in key markets, with specific focus on current and future evidence requirements driving reimbursement and access decisions. Ideally experience with and strong interest in application of AI and other technologies to optimize evidence generation and value demonstration.

Expertise and proven track record in demonstrating impact in one or more of the core functional disciplines of Access evidence/HTA (Statistics, Health Economics, Epidemiology and/or Real World Data) and experience in leading multiple global or international health economics and access evidence projects and teams in a matrix environment

Excellent understanding of how different types of evidence are connected to one another and can be used to actively inform and influence investment decisions across the asset/product life-cycle; strong ability to communicate science to non-scientific audiences and build strong and sustainable relationships to all relevant parts of the organization.

Excellent understanding of the drug development and commercialization process, as well as an excellent understanding of the current and future external trends influencing the successful commercialization of our innovative therapies across a variety of markets.

Excellent stakeholder management skills, ability to influence at all levels and manage expectations of various internal and external stakeholders. Enterprise-thinking, strategically beyond the immediate future and well versed in relationship-building in a multi-cultural environment.

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to synthesize, explain and present analytics and data as well as complex solutions to problem statements to Senior Management and a proven track record in driving successful and sustainable change that led to improved business performance.

Demonstrated the ability to bring the agile ways of working, empowered decision making and creative mindset to life and possess excellent strategic agility and management and coaching skills.
