Operation Manager (H/F)

Position overview

As the Operation Manager, you are a cornerstone in the management team.

You are defined by your business leadership and strategic mindset. You are responsible for the development and implementation of measures to contribute to the smooth operations of the hotel and to enhance the quality of service of all operations departments.

Ensuring guest satisfaction and exceeding their expectations as well as strong dedication to maintaining high standards of quality and a results-oriented approach, are crucial aspects of your day-to-day operations, alongside driving financial performance, and maximizing revenue.

This position is ideally available for an immediate start, yet we remain flexible with the starting date.

Requirements:

- Degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.

- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, for at least 2 years, preferably in a luxury mountain boutique hotel style.

- Strong background in Room Division operations, including revenue management, mandatory.

- Impeccable appearance, effective communication, and strong leadership abilities.

- Strong ability to thrive in an autonomous work environment alongside with a remote management team.

- Holder of “Patente LHR” in Valais, mandatory.

- Proficient in French and English mandatory. German and/or Italian are an asset.

Key Responsibilities under the supervision of the Management which operates mainly remotely:

- Collaborate with headquarter and regularly report to them to ensure that objectives are met, and strategic vision is upheld.

- Work alongside and oversee all Head of Departments to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations.

- Ensure high standards of guest's satisfaction by overseeing service quality and resolving any issues promptly.

- Guarantee full compliance with hotel operating controls, SOPs, policies and procedures.

- Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics which inspire team members to exceed standards, as well as promoting team empowerment and staff loyalty.

- Forge and nurture strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and the local community to enhance the hotel's image and reputation.

- Develop and implement strategies to optimize performances, including revenue management and cost control measures.

- In collaboration with the Financial Director: oversee financial management, budgeting, and forecasting to achieve revenue and profit targets.
