As a Communications Manager for Zurich Insurance Group, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our narrative and communication strategies. This role offers a unique platform to position Zurich as a leader beyond traditional insurance, focusing on getting closer to customers by delivering customized, proactive, and digital experiences so they are better prepared for the future.
What you will do
- Manage the development and implementation of innovative global communication strategies that bring Zurich’s retail insurance ambitions to life for employees and other stakeholders.
- Identify and articulate compelling business and customer success stories that resonate with both internal and external audiences, showcasing Zurich’s impact and achievements.
- Work closely with others to translate developments in the external landscape into business-relevant insights and messages, ensuring Zurich stays ahead in the industry.
- Create and execute inspiring communication plans across multiple platforms that foster employee engagement, awareness, and a sense of connection to Zurich’s mission and values.
- Collaborate with diverse Communications teams globally to craft messaging and campaigns aligned with Zurich’s objectives, creating a unified, consistent and compelling narrative and influencing others to drive impactful change together.
- Use data and analytics to measure the impact of communications initiatives, adjusting strategies to optimize engagement and effectiveness, ensuring continuous improvement and relevance.
What you bring
- At least five years in strategic communications roles (or a related field) within an international organization. Marketing and/or start-up experience is a plus.
- Able to think strategically while being hands-on in execution, including conducting market research and competitive analysis.
- Proven ability to execute communications/marketing campaigns across multiple channels and driving change and impact with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Able to be resilient under pressure and thrive in a very fast-paced environment.
- Native-level fluency in English with the ability to write inspiring and engaging content across various platforms (e.g., internal, social media, websites).
- Proficient in using digital platforms and social media to create engaging communications.
- Excellent at managing, prioritizing, and organizing multiple topics, challenges, and deliverables.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders.
- Skilled at advising and influencing stakeholders with clear, compelling messages that drive action.
