About the role
As the Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping and building the company's DevOps capabilities from the ground up. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will:
- Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines for a secure, scalable infrastructure
- Develop containerisation solutions using Kubernetes in an on-premises Red Hat OpenShift environment
- Collaborate closely with the security and engineering teams to ensure compliance and system reliability
- Influence future hires and the strategic direction of this growing team
Key requirements
The ideal candidate for the Senior DevOps Engineer role will possess:
- Proficiency in Linux systems and containerisation technologies, particularly Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift or similar on-premises environments
- A strong understanding of DevOps principles, automation and pipeline creation
- Fluency in German (mandatory) and valid EU/EFTA citizenship
