Strategy, Portfolio & Operations (SPO) is a newly built function that aims to encompass a number of business partner functions for pRED including strategy, portfolio, program and project management office, clinical operations, sites and laboratory management, capability development and external operations. SPO is set up leveraging a hub and spoke design with a clear mandate for core capabilities that are mirrored by the respective spokes in disease therapeutic areas and functions across pRED. SPO’s mission is to deliver excellence in operations, ensure patient centricity and enable high-quality decision-making. As a trusted partner across pRED, SPO contributes to pRED’s research and development excellence.
The Opportunity
This position will take ownership of the end-to-end process of managing training assignments across pRED (Pharma Research and Early Development), ensuring alignment between training content, job profiles, and organisational learning needs.
The role will act as a matrix leader for Cornerstone Administrators within SPO and work closely with learning specialists across DTA & GFs. A key component of it is fostering a learning community, involving collaboration with Learning Ambassadors to drive efficiency, enhance customer-centricity, and ensure the proactive assignment of relevant training.

End-to-End Training Management: You will lead and oversee the entire training management process, ensuring that training assignments are optimized for the right job profiles, roles, and skills across pRED. You will develop, implement, and maintain an impact measurement strategy for all pRED trainings of the Chapter.

Matrix Leadership: You will serve as the matrix leader for Cornerstone admins in SPO, providing strategic direction, support, and governance on the use of the Learning Management System (LMS), while ensuring consistent practices across teams.

Drive collaboration with Learning Specialists: You will actively partner with learning specialists in DTA and Global Functions to define, design, and align training programs with organizational objectives, ensuring training relevance, compliance, and accessibility.

Learning Community Development: You will build and nurture a dynamic learning community across pRED by engaging Learning Ambassadors. You will foster knowledge sharing, innovation, and best practice exchange to improve training impact and efficiency.

Training Alignment and Optimization: You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure training content is accurately mapped to job profiles and development needs, driving more effective learning outcomes. You will lead initiatives to proactively identify and assign the right training programs, considering both current and future skills and competencies needed across the organization.

Efficiency and Customer-Centricity: You will continuously review and optimize training processes to enhance operational efficiency across Chapter while maintaining a customer-centric approach to support employee development and learning satisfaction.
Who you are

You bring 5-8 years minimum of experience designing, implementing, and facilitating learning programs aligned with organizational goals.

You demonstrate proven experience in leading training management processes within a complex matrix environment.

You possess a strong understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS), particularly Cornerstone, and the ability to provide guidance and governance on system use.

You exhibit excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, learning ambassadors, and senior management.

You showcase experience in building and maintaining learning communities or networks, driving collaboration and knowledge-sharing practices.

You maintain a proactive mindset with the ability to drive training initiatives that align with organizational goals and future competency requirements.
