Senior SAP Manager/Director - Consumer Goods Description
As the Senior Manager/Director of SAP Consumer Goods and Retail Solutions, you will shape and guide our customer engagements across our extensive retail and consumer portfolio on a European scale. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated and highly organized individual. You will dictate key decisions, manage complex customer relationships and provide intensive SAP expertise, specifically in the retail and consumer goods industry.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage SAP teams across multiple countries, ensuring performance in the SAP CPG sector
- Deliver comprehensive end-to-end solutions, adhering to a continuous improvement process to maximize customer satisfaction
- Provide strategic advice to clients, creating operating models tailored to their specific needs for further growth
- Collaborate with international counterparts to formulate strategies and solutions for SAP consumer and retail opportunities
- Promote and encourage trust and cooperation among clients, partners and internal stakeholders, achieving seamless source process integration
- Demonstrate proficiency in SAP consumer retail solutions, including S/4HANA, forecasting, warehousing and IBP (Integrated Business Planning) for advanced supply chain management
- Develop business value propositions, sales plans and assist with RFPs/RFQs/RFIs in collaboration with Business Units, sales, partners and executive teams
- Collaborate with internal and partner teams on joint opportunities, including pipeline and forecast reviews
- Establish yourself as an internal SAP trusted advisor, managing product cycles and providing access to early release programs and over time, product roadmaps
Requirements
- Deep industry expertise in SAP solutions for clients in the Fashion and Retail sectors, with several years of experience in complex SAP consulting/implementation projects, particularly in industry-specific modules like SAP Fashion Management and Retail solutions
- Possess strong technical proficiency in SAP development and architecture, with an understanding of SAP Retail, SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR), SAP S/4HANA Fashion and other SAP retail-centric solutions
- Demonstrated professional services experience in a vendor environment, inclusive of extensive management and consultation capacities
- Proven solutions' selling skills and success in developing and fortifying client relationships while maintaining strong internal alliances
- Solid technical experience with digital retail technologies like omnichannel commerce, customer experience management and inventory management systems
- Exceptional ability to communicate effectively and manage distributed teams with a focus on fostering motivation and leadership based on trust
- Robust skills in verbal, written, collaboration, presentation and interpersonal communication
- High energy level and the capacity to work independently with a strategic vision for SAP systems and a strong conceptual mindset
- Experience in team building and leadership, able to attract committed employees with an entrepreneurial drive
- Proficient communication skills in English are a must and knowledge of the German language is a significant advantage
