Als führendes polizei-wissenschaftliches Kompetenzzentrum der Schweiz ist das FOR unter anderem zuständig für Spurensicherungen am Ereignisort, forensische Analysen im Labor sowie Bericht-erstattungen vor Gericht. Das Institut ist eine selbständige öffentlich-rechtliche Anstalt des Kantons Zürich und der Stadt Zürich.
Zur Ergänzung unseres Teams suchen wir per 1. Januar 2025 oder nach Vereinbarung eine/n
Ihre Aufgaben sind:
- Bearbeiten von kriminaltechnischen Fragestellungen auf dem Gebiet der technischen Formspuren mit Schwerpunkt Schuh-, Handschuh- und Reifenspuren (nebst Werkzeugspuren als anderem Schwerpunktthema innerhalb der Fachgruppe)
- Erstellen von Berichten und Gutachten zu forensischen Fragestellungen im Fachgebiet
- Angewandte Forschung und Entwicklung im Fachgebiet (inkl. Publikationen)
- Weiterentwickeln bestehender Methoden im Bereich technische Formspuren
- Planung und Durchführung von internen und externen Weiterbildungen
- Mitarbeit in nationalen und internationalen Gremien
- Je nach Eignung und Interesse: Ausrücktätigkeit für Spurensicherungen (Fachpikett)
Das bringen Sie mit:

Abgeschlossenes (Fach-)Hochschulstudium in einer technisch-naturwissenschaftlichen Studienrichtung wie Physik, Maschinenbauingenieurwissenschaften, Forensische Wissenschaften
- Berufserfahrung in der Spurensicherung und -auswertung von Vorteil
- Bereitschaft für die Ausbildung zum Experten / zur Expertin mit dem Ziel der selbständigen Erstellung von Gutachten im Fachgebiet
- Analytische und logische Denkweise sowie exakte und selbständige Arbeitsweise
- Erfahrung in der Durchführung/Leitung von wissenschaftlichen Projekten von Vorteil
- Freude an technischen Arbeiten und interdisziplinärer Zusammenarbeit
- Ausgezeichnete Deutschkenntnisse; gute Englisch- und/oder Französischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
