Abbott Established Pharmaceutical Division (EPD) is looking for a
Procurement FP&A Manager
for its global Pharma Division Headquarter based in Allschwil- Basel.
Primary Job Function:
The Primary objective is to provide financial leadership for the EPD Direct Procurement organization, ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results with adequate internal controls. This is to be executed through financial planning, analysis, and performance measurement that can enable strategic and day-to-day business objectives achievement related to Direct Procurement businesses.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Financial oversight of Procurement suppliers. Including but not limited to:

Consolidation of EPD Direct Procurement P&L (COGS/PPV) result for Plans and LBE’s

Monthly tracking of actual results versus plan/LBE targets

Cost Spend analysis related to Material Purchases

Develop annual Standard Cost calculations, analytics and overview

Preparation of monthly reports for SRO / Operations Management
-
Provide product cost to commercial for Procurement materials for year over year planning and NPI
-
Ensure compliance with local and Corp Procurement policies and procedures

Gross Margin Improvement related activities: co-ordination, reconciliation, target setting and pipeline feeding in Direct Procurement organization

Collaborate and provide financial expertise to the Direct Procurement leadership Team
Other:

Provide ongoing support to SRO Controller in respect of Procurement and Finance related activities

Provide support to site controllers in achieving their procurement targets. Act as an informational resource by accumulating best practice/procedural guidance from Division.

Prepare and consolidate "RLBE" (Rolling Latest Best Estimate). Consolidate individual Site data into a Global Ops submission. Create the format and timetable for LBE submissions. Review manufacturing site feedbacks and understand variances.

Other Purchasing and costing related activities and projects that may arise
Minimum Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or similar qualification

Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) an advantage
Minimum Experience/Training Required:
-
Minimum 4-7-year experience in Finance
-
SAP and Excel literate
-
Project management experience
-
Experience working within a multinational environment preferable
-
Experience in financial modelling and cost-benefit analysis would be an advantage

Strong communication, presentation and teamwork skills
