We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Group Head of ERP and Business Applications leading his/her team with a strong focus on further developing business processes and tools, providing superior business support to reach competitive advantages.

Sécheron Hasler Group has three autonomous Business Units (BUs) Electrical Safety Solutions, Traction Power Systems and On-Board Electronics lead by Business Unit Heads with full responsibility for their teams and P&L’s worldwide.

Main objectives

Manage efficiently the ERP and Business Applications department and external service providers of Sécheron Hasler Group across all sites, to:

• Assure reliable operations of the Oracle database, Oracle e-business suite, all Business Applications running on Oracle database and interfaces between Oracle database and 3rd party systems.
• Secure efficient user support.
• Drive efficient implementation of Oracle e-business suite for additional countries.

As “Program Manager”, collaborate closely with business leaders and drive the business IT steering group to:

• Analyse across the organization and process landscape needs for digitalization and automation of processes and information.
• Define the target ERP and Business Application architecture for the Group, ensuring:
  • Good coverage of current and future business and functional needs.
  • Efficient IT system operations and migrations.
• Define and prioritize in collaboration with business leaders the portfolio of ERP and Business Application projects to realize the target architecture.
• Structure, staff, drive and monitor the implementation of prioritized projects.

• Coordinate key topics and interfaces with the Group Head of IT.

Master Degree in computer science or information technology.

• Over 15 years of ERP and Business Application development and operations experience in a multi-country medium-sized industrial company.
• Extensive experience in IT project management.
• Excellent understanding of ERP systems, modern business application technologies and IT tools.
• Good knowledge about all business processes.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong track record in ERP- & IT-project implementation.
• Excellent communication skills in English, other languages are a plus.
